Isabela Island, the crown jewel of the Galápagos, is the largest island in the archipelago—stretching 62 miles in length and spanning 1,791 square miles. Home to just 3,000 residents, it remains wild and unspoiled, with towering volcanoes and sweeping Pacific views. Offshore, its waters are among the richest in the Eastern Pacific, teeming with tuna, bonito, and squid that attract massive schools of blue and black marlin. For anglers, this means prime feeding grounds lie just 8 miles from port, with runs rarely exceeding 20 nautical miles—putting some of the world’s largest billfish within easy reach.
