Christmas Island Fishing Trips - The Villages
Fly and Conventional Anglers
Places
Kiritimati, also known as Christmas Island, is located in the turquoise waters of the Pacific Ocean. The island, which is nearly 150 square miles in size, is surrounded by intricate coral reefs.
Christmas Island offers excellent inshore and offshore fishing opportunities for both fly and conventional anglers. It has gained global recognition for its abundant bonefish population, the presence of giant trevally, and its seemingly endless clear waters with a white sand bottom. These factors, combined with the unique sand and coral flats, enhance visibility and make spotting bonefish easier compared to other locations.
The Villages holds two key advantages over other fishing lodges on the Island. Firstly, your skiffs are a 30-second walk from your bungalow. Secondly, each angler is assigned their own English-speaking fishing guide. A 1:1 guide to angler ratio. The extra pair of eyes really helps with bonefishing. 2024 is our 14th year hosting trips at The Villages.
