Dry Fly-Fish North Island Wild Browns

   This vast private estate hidden in a secluded country valley offers 25-miles of magical trout water. Fish quiet freestone streams and spring creeks. Find wild brown trout that average 22-inches in crystal clear water. They willingly take a dry fly or small nymph.

   If you want to explore un-fished water, the distant boundaries of the property have rugged forested canyons hiding trophy trout. They also have two helicopters at the lodge for fly-outs to remote mountain streams, (additional costs).

   New solid timber main lodge with huge open log fire. Country cooking specializing in game fare and fine wines. Horseback riding, shooting lodge, health spa, mountain biking, underground wine cellar and more.

Includes:  Accommodations, guided fishing, laundry service, all meals, drinks and bar facilities at lodge, wilderness cabins and camp-outs.

South Island Trophy Browns

    This unique trout fishery offers the challenge of pitting your skills against wild brown trout in clear waters with spectacular surroundings. Stalk brown trout in spring creeks, rivers and lakes. Eleven lakes and 30 streams and rivers are within an hour of the lodge. Three-pound browns are considered average with trophies up to 8-pounds or more.

    The lodge stands in the midst of a forest at the edge of New Zealand's Southern Alps. Walking trails lead to the 100-foot Mitchells Waterfall, (behind the lodge) and around the lake's edge.

   All guest rooms have en suite bathrooms, and each has a charming view. The furnishings have been crafted from heart native timbers to individual designs. Dining room meals use the best of New Zealand's meat and fish, classic sauces and fresh produce. The cuisine receives outstanding reviews from guests.

Accommodations include: Canapes, three course dinner, bed and continental or cooked breakfast. Refreshments are available throughout the day. Additional charges are for guided activities, alcoholic beverages and GST 12.5%.
