Angler's Lodge
South Andros Island, a remote, quiet island,
is widely known as the bonefishing capital of the world. Expect to fish
schools of bonefish that average 2 to 4-pounds. You will have many shots
at tailing and cruising bonefish ranging from 5 to 10+ pounds. These
opportunities will come while wading hard sand and marl flats or being
poled along in one of their fully equipped flats skiffs. Other fish to
target are the large, aggressive barracuda, shark, jacks, tarpon, permit
and snapper.
The lodge is located on a white sand beach. Each guest has his own
comfortable room and bathroom. Not fancy, but comfortable and
air-conditioned. Great meals with an emphasis on Bahamian cooking. Enjoy
lobster and conch, jerk chicken, ribs, homemade key lime pie and more.
At the end of the day appetizers and drinks are served at the beach tiki
bar which is also referred to as Slack Tide.
Includes: Lodging, meals, ground transfers, guided fishing,
beer and wine, a selection of flies and or terminal tackle.
