World Famous - Bonefish the Flats
Sightcast world famous flats for trophy-sized bonefish. Andros Island is known as the home of the world’s largest bonefish. Bonefish average 3 to 5-pounds. Trophy-sized bonefish exceeding 10-pounds regularly test anglers' skills. Other fish to target are permit, tarpon, sharks, and snapper.
Fish from 16' to 18' modern flats skiffs, complete with poling platforms, 85-140 horsepower Yamaha outboards and spacious casting decks.
Andros Island Bonefishing Club
This world famous bonefishing club was built on a 250-acre sisal plantation, at the mouth of a 27-mile long freshwater stream, just over an hour's flight from Miami. Spacious air-conditioned cabins with private bath. Main lounge has satellite TV, a well-stocked bar and a well stocked fly-tying bench.
Includes: All accommodations and meals at the lodge, guided fishing, government room tax, taxi transfer to and from the Andros Town airport and laundry service.
