Goodnews River Lodge is only a few miles above saltwater. Kings, silvers, chums, and sockeye are bright, hot fish – many with sea lice. There are lots of 20” plus rainbows and dolly varden because of huge salmon runs as a food source. This is the only fixed camp operation on the Goodnews River. Most salmon fishing is a 5-10 minute run from camp in a jet boat. Two anglers per jet boat and guide. All lures and flies are furnished, plus spare rods, reels, lines, and Gore-Tex boot foot, chest waders are available.
