Alaska ▪ Kodiak Sportsman's Lodge
Huge Saltwater Kings and Halibut
2011 Hosted Week:
● June 14-20 with Larry Schoenborn - 6-day Pkg.
Book anytime. You are not restricted to our hosted weeks.
Larry thinks this is the best saltwater king salmon fishing on the planet. Plus there is very little fishing pressure. Some years we'll land from 20 to 35 kings over 60-pounds. Two, over 80-pounds, have been caught here.
This is the only area of Alaska where you're allowed two kings every day. The halibut fishing is terrific with good shallow water spots and only half the current of Cook Inlet or S.E. Alaska. Calm waters are protected by 18-mile long Sitkalidak Island. Beautiful mountains are in the background.
Guided fishing on custom, fast catamaran cabin boats with marine head and electric downrigger for each angler. Four anglers per boat.
Outstanding Alaskan chefs prepare a variety of local cuisine. Deluxe lodging, rooms with private baths, beer on tap, lounge with satellite TV and wireless internet, daily maid service and laundry facility.
Includes: Roundtrip flight Kodiak City to lodge, ground transfers in Old Harbor, deluxe lodging, guided fishing, meals, use of all tackle and outfits, and two 50-pound boxes of your vacuum packed fish. Fish boxes are flown to Kodiak city as part of the package.
- 2010 and 2011 Rates:
- 5-nights and 5-days guided fishing $4,500.00
- 6-nights and 6-days guided fishing $4,900.00
