Alaska ▪ Chignik River Kings and Halibut
▪ Bright kings on Chignik River
▪ Halibut fishing is almost untouched
▪ Bright sockeye and char on feeder streams
This is Larry's favorite hot spot!
The two-mile long Chignik River hosts a large run of the brightest king salmon that Larry has seen in a stream. They hold and eventually spawn in only this short section of the river. Two kings can be saved per day with a total of five for your trip, subject to change.
Three anglers per 20' jet sled with 12 to 25 kings often landed per boat. Halibut fishing is almost untouched. Bright sockeye and char on feeder streams. Excellent remote fishing. Larry's group saw 30 brown bear in one day.
Accommodations are a nice bed and breakfast which overlooks the water.
