Goodnews River Lodge is only a few miles above saltwater. Kings, silvers, chums, and sockeye are bright, hot fish – many with sea lice. There are lots of 20” plus rainbows and dolly varden because of huge salmon runs as a food source. This is the only fixed camp operation on the Goodnews River. Most salmon fishing is a 5-10 minute run from camp in a jet boat. Two anglers per jet boat and guide. All lures and flies are furnished, plus spare rods, reels, lines, and Gore-Tex boot foot, chest waders are available.

Guests stay in elevated, Weatherport 10’x12’ deluxe sleeping tents for two with adjustable heat, real beds, electricity and lighting. The deluxe drying room with air-jet dryers is steps away from six, indoor, heated bathrooms, each with hot showers. Enjoy breakfasts of champions, hors d’oeuvres, four-course dinners. Camp is open June 22 - Sept. 7 and is limited to eighteen anglers
