The Aniak is Alaska's best river because of its variety of species and the sheer numbers of fish you'll catch. Stream fish for silvers, kings, sheefish and rainbows. Because this river is comparatively undiscovered, you'll see very few anglers. Aniak River Lodge also fishes several smaller tributaries of the Kuskokwim River reached by jet boat from the lodge.
You're guided here with two anglers to a jet boat and guide. The guides are the best we've found anywhere. They are top boatmen and really know the hot spots. Clients have landed over 100 silvers in a day! Silvers are best here from August 5th through September 1st. This is also a great time for beautiful leopard rainbow, northern pike, char, grayling and even a few sheefish. The Aniak may be Alaska's best rainbow fishing.
Aniak River Lodge guests will stay at their lodge located about 30 miles upriver from the town of Aniak for five nights. Then go further upriver about 12 miles and stay at the tent camp for two nights. This will allow anglers to fish new water and spread out the fishing pressure.
Includes: Lodging, meals, guided fishing, evening fishing, lodge and airport transfers, vacuum packed fish care and all flies.
